Controls Manager - Electrical / Electronics / PLC
We are currently seeking an experienced Controls Manager with expertise in automation, automated car parking systems, hardware, PLC control panels, and SCADA. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining electrical systems for our parking facilities and related projects in UAE, Oman and KSA.
Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems, both Hardware and Software, for automated car parking projects, including power distribution, PLC control panels, and field wiring.
- Develop PLC programs and SCADA interfaces to control and monitor parking operations.
- Co-ordinate with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems with automation technologies.
- Conduct electrical load calculations and power distribution analysis for parking projects.
- Specify and procure electrical components and equipment for installation.
- Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during project implementation and operation.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel.
- Keep abreast of advancements in electrical engineering and automation technologies.
- Manage installed Automated Car Parking Projects for the trouble shooting of PLC software issues and Faults/ Errors.
- Manage team for Electrical Field wiring, Cable Ducting and regular maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical/ / Electronics / related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in automation, preferably in Car parking Systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and SCADA systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Good Knowledge in selection of VFD, PLC, Switch Gears, sensors, etc. for Automation Systems.
- Experience with CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project assignments in Saudi, Muscat and other Countries.
