Controls Manager - Electrical / Electronics / PLC

We are currently seeking an experienced Controls Manager with expertise in automation, automated car parking systems, hardware, PLC control panels, and SCADA. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining electrical systems for our parking facilities and related projects in UAE, Oman and KSA.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design electrical systems, both Hardware and Software, for automated car parking projects, including power distribution, PLC control panels, and field wiring.
  2. Develop PLC programs and SCADA interfaces to control and monitor parking operations.
  3. Co-ordinate with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems with automation technologies.
  4. Conduct electrical load calculations and power distribution analysis for parking projects.
  5. Specify and procure electrical components and equipment for installation.
  6. Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during project implementation and operation.
  8. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  9. Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel.
  10. Keep abreast of advancements in electrical engineering and automation technologies.
  11. Manage installed Automated Car Parking Projects for the trouble shooting of PLC software issues and Faults/ Errors.
  12. Manage team for Electrical Field wiring, Cable Ducting and regular maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical/ / Electronics / related field.

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 15 years of experience in automation, preferably in Car parking Systems.
  2. Proficiency in PLC programming and SCADA systems.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  5. Good Knowledge in selection of VFD, PLC, Switch Gears, sensors, etc. for Automation Systems. 
  6. Experience with CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
  7. Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
  8. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  9. Willingness to travel occasionally for project assignments in Saudi, Muscat and other Countries.
